Why become involved?

Use your experience to make a difference

Each and every person living in Scotland with Hepatitis B or C has a unique experience.  Whether you wish to share your experience of having an excellent service to others or you think more should be done in a certain area to improve experiences of others.  Only by listening and learning from each other and joining our voices together can we affect real change.

Meet people from across Scotland

You will get the opportunity to meet other people living with Hepatitis B or C:  Sharing your experiences with others, learning from people who have experienced treatment, find out about services and groups in your area.

Training and Learning Opportunities

We will provide training and other opportunities so our members have the most up to date information.  We also provide training for people who wish to become patient representatives on professional groups.

Raising Issues for Discussion

You will be able to raise issues for other group members to discuss.  There will be clear channels for sharing information.  You will be able to contribute to the direction of the learning and changes that Hepatitis Voices will seek to influence.

Expenses and Support

We want everyone to have the opportunity to become involved.  We will provide out of pocket expenses, and if you encounter any barriers to becoming involved we will do everything we can to remove these.
